Manager Transactional Cash Management

About the role

The Manager Transactional Cash Management is responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end cash flow processes within the Purchase‑to‑Pay and Order‑to‑Cash cycles. The role ensures timely payments, accurate cash forecasting and strict compliance with internal and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute payment files, direct debit files and manual payments while managing discrepancies.
• Maintain and operate payment/collection systems, ensuring authorisation and adherence to the “Paid on time” KPI.
• Reconcile automatic bank statements, minimise aged items and design posting rules for the payment system into the General Ledger.
• Prepare a 90‑day forward cash forecast incorporating weekly trading information.
• Support the CFO and Head of FP&A in achieving cash targets and deliver standard controls with audit evidence.
• Liaise with Group reporting, FinOps, auditors and internal stakeholders on inter‑company processes and compliance.
• Oversee GL processing, month‑end closure activities and ensure timely completion of all reconciliations in the Cadence tool.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and regulatory requirements (SOX, internal/external audit).
• Experience managing cash operations, payment systems and inter‑company accounting.
• Ability to lead a team through stabilisation, effectiveness and efficiency phases.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
