About the role
The Market Manager will drive growth and brand presence for Moët Hennessy across the Democratic Republic of Congo, contributing to the company’s 2030 vision for the Middle East Africa region. The role focuses on identifying commercial opportunities, developing market strategies, and managing key partner relationships to achieve sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement market strategies based on analysis of market dynamics, competition, and consumer trends.
- Lead business development initiatives, create a rolling three‑year vision, and define optimal routes to market.
- Design and execute sales plans for distributors and strategic accounts, including pricing, promotions, and performance monitoring.
- Manage supply‑chain and logistics processes, ensure timely order submission, and oversee distributor contracts and trade terms.
- Monitor compliance, track counterfeit products, and manage credit risk and DSO.
- Conduct trade visits, maintain channel segmentation data, and support product distribution and assortment.
- Develop annual brand plans in collaboration with distributors and regional marketing teams, and act as a brand ambassador.
Required profile
- Proven experience in market management, business development, or commercial leadership within a consumer‑goods environment.
- Strong analytical ability to use sales data, market benchmarking, and consumer insights for decision‑making.
- Demonstrated capability to build and maintain distributor relationships and manage contracts.
- Understanding of supply‑chain logistics, credit management, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to represent the brand to trade partners, influencers, and consumers.
