Market Research Manager

About the role

The Market Research Manager will lead the Consumer & Market Insights function, turning deep consumer understanding into actionable recommendations that shape brand strategy, communication and business decisions. This role is pivotal in making the organisation an insights‑driven marketing company.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research projects (FGDs, IDIs, ethnography, surveys) to uncover consumer behavior, motivations and unmet needs.
• Convert research data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for brand, product development and communication teams.
• Develop and manage an annual research roadmap aligned with business priorities, overseeing projects from brief to reporting.
• Lead and develop a research team, building capability in moderation, analysis and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Brand, Sales and Trade Marketing as a strategic partner, presenting insights to senior management.
• Maintain a centralized insights repository and track key market trends for easy access across the organisation.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in market research or consumer insights, preferably within FMCG or other consumer‑driven sectors.
• Strong background in qualitative research methods (FGDs, in‑depth interviews, ethnography) and quantitative analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to translate data into business‑focused recommendations and storytelling.
