Marketing Specialist – Mobile Phone Products (DRC)

About the role

The Marketing Specialist will drive brand awareness and customer engagement for the HONOR mobile phone brand across the Democratic Republic of Congo. Working closely with the Chinese go‑to‑market team, you will plan and execute local campaigns, manage social media channels, and create localized content to strengthen the brand’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of in‑store promotions, roadshows, exhibitions, product experience events, and campus promotions.
• Manage HONOR’s local social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), publishing engaging content and interacting with followers.
• Coordinate production, deployment, and maintenance of marketing materials such as posters, banners, and outdoor advertising.
• Build and maintain relationships with advertising agencies, media companies, shopping centres, KOLs and KOCs.
• Capture photos and videos of events and retail locations, and share content with headquarters.
• Collect and analyse campaign and social‑media performance data, preparing regular reports and recommendations.

Required profile

• College diploma or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Media or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in marketing, branding or event management.
• Fluent in French and local languages.
• Excellent writing, communication and event‑coordination abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with photo editing.
• Experience with video editing.
