Operations Training Regional Lead

About the role

As Wave expands into the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Operations Training Regional Lead will drive strategic planning and rigorous supervision of all training activities. The role sets the foundation for the country’s training objectives and ensures high‑quality support for the Agent Network.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments and define training requirements based on country strategy and agent performance data.
• Lead the translation of training materials into English and French, and assist with audio‑visual recording.
• Plan, deliver, and facilitate both face‑to‑face and remote training sessions for agents and internal teams.
• Visit agents in the field to address action items and gather feedback.
• Coordinate regional roll‑outs of new products and processes in partnership with territory leads.
• Administer training channels (Slack, WhatsApp), monitor gaps, and report on program effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating training outcomes, measuring ROI, and transitioning from in‑person to digital learning.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English, with a good command of local languages.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing training programs or an agent network, preferably in a learning‑and‑development context.
• Proven ability to lead teams, analyze data, and implement quality‑focused improvements.
• Strong organizational skills, self‑discipline, and the capacity to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
