Operations Training Regional Lead

About the role

The Operations Training Regional Lead will drive the strategic planning and supervision of all training activities as Wave expands into the DRC. You will set the foundation for the country’s training objectives and ensure high‑quality support for the agent network across Bandundu and Kongo Central.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments and define requirements based on country strategy and agent performance data.
• Lead translation of training materials into English and French and adapt content using observations and data‑driven insights.
• Plan, deliver, and facilitate both face‑to‑face and digital training sessions, including site visits and remote facilitation.
• Manage training administration, monitor communication channels (Slack, WhatsApp), and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Coordinate regional rollouts in partnership with territory leads and ensure smooth transition from classroom to e‑learning.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English, with a good command of local languages.
• At least 5 years of experience managing training or an agent network, preferably in a learning & development or corporate setting.
• Proven ability to lead teams, analyze data for ROI, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Willingness to travel frequently to field locations and work directly with agents.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting.
• Experience using Slack (or similar platforms) for content delivery and training administration.
• Ability to create and edit training videos and audio recordings.
• Strong presentation and public‑speaking capabilities.
