Partnerships Specialist (P-3) – Temporary, Kinshasa

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Partnerships Specialist (P-3) on a six‑month temporary appointment to support the DRC country office during the ongoing Ebola response. Working under the Partnerships Manager, you will help scale resource mobilisation, re‑programming and reporting to ensure an effective humanitarian response for children and vulnerable communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and submit proposals to secure funding from public and private donors.
• Manage grants, ensuring compliance with UNICEF and donor requirements.
• Engage donors and partners through strategic communication and relationship‑building activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align fundraising efforts with programme needs.
• Provide technical guidance on fundraising strategies and reporting.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in international relations, political science, communications, international development or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in partnership development, resource mobilisation, grant management or humanitarian fundraising.
• Demonstrated ability to work in complex, multi‑sectoral emergency contexts.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
