Production Engineer – Database & Cloud Operations

About the role

Telarix is looking for a Production Engineer to join its Telecom OSS/BSS team. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our database and cloud infrastructure while supporting critical production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and tune SQL Server databases using SSMS and related tools.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as log file management, index rebuilding, and health monitoring.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery procedures and conduct periodic DR tests.
• Plan, test, and execute application patches, system upgrades, and releases with minimal downtime.
• Coordinate data migrations and refreshes across development, test, and production environments.
• Monitor system performance, configure alerts, and automate repetitive maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with end‑users, R&D, and customer teams to resolve complex support tickets.

Required profile

• Strong experience troubleshooting SQL Server issues and optimizing database performance.
• Hands‑on knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Proven ability to manage patch cycles, upgrades, and migration projects.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
