Programme Associate (G-6) – Full Time – Kinshasa

About the role

The Programme Associate (G‑6) provides specialised programme and administrative support to UNICEF’s country office in Kinshasa. Working under the Chiefs of Sections (Social Policy, Health, Child Protection), the role ensures effective planning, implementation and monitoring of programmes while maintaining compliance with UNICEF policies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project management and partnership activities, ensuring alignment with programme objectives.
• Manage data collection, analysis and reporting, including budget tracking and grant monitoring.
• Support digital innovation initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
• Facilitate communication, knowledge sharing and dissemination of programme results.
• Assist in capacity‑building events and provide surge support as needed.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary education; a relevant bachelor’s degree may replace three years of experience, a master’s degree may replace two additional years.
• Minimum six years of clerical or administrative experience.
• Fluency in French; knowledge of another UN language (English, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
• Experience in development, fragile or humanitarian settings is desirable.
