Programme Coordinator – Humanitarian Operations in DRC

About the role

Concern Worldwide is seeking a Programme Coordinator to lead the implementation of its BHA‑funded multi‑sector programme in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Based in Goma, you will oversee WASH, shelter and livelihoods activities across Tanganyika and North Kivu, ensuring high‑quality delivery and compliance with donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day programme implementation, budget tracking and timely reporting.
• Coordinate with technical advisors, M&E manager and finance team to align activities with the project plan.
• Lead and line‑manage Programme Managers in Tanganyika and North Kivu.
• Represent Concern in inter‑agency coordination meetings at district and provincial levels.
• Support the development of funding proposals and contribute to donor calls and meetings.
• Develop and maintain monitoring frameworks in collaboration with the M&E team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing humanitarian programmes, preferably in multi‑sector contexts.
• Strong understanding of BHA or similar donor requirements.
• Ability to travel regularly across programme locations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
