Project Officer – Every Child Belongs Project

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Project Officer for the “Every Child Belongs” project in Likasi. The role focuses on promoting disability inclusion, improving access to education and health services, and building the capacity of staff, community partners and families of children with disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Engage communities and build capacity to ensure participation of persons with disabilities in development activities.
• Design and implement inclusive education, health and nutrition interventions for children with disabilities.
• Develop and monitor inclusive program plans, budgets and data collection systems.
• Facilitate partnerships with disability‑focused NGOs, government agencies and local coalitions.
• Lead advocacy and policy engagement on disability rights and child protection at district and national levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Disability Studies or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in community‑based disability or child‑well‑being programmes.
• Strong facilitation, communication and project management abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to accountability, integrity and collaborative working.
