Reconciliation Officer

About the role

We are looking for a resourceful Reconciliation Officer to join our finance team in Kinshasa. You will ensure that our bank balances match internal records, supporting our mission to make financial services seamless across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and verify that bank balances align with internal balances.
• Review and process agent e‑float purchases and partner wallet funding transactions.
• Match each transaction amount precisely, flagging and investigating any differences.
• Reconcile banks with corresponding bank agent IDs and record daily and monthly bank fees.
• Investigate and identify the source of any discrepancy or balance difference.
• Assist the Reconciliation Manager in implementing projects and handle ad‑hoc tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in English and French.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar reconciliation role.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
