Regional Manager – Partnerships for Forests (DRC & ROC)

About the role

Palladium is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead the Partnerships for Forests programme across the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Congo. Based in Kinshasa, you will be the primary representative of the programme, working closely with local communities, governments, private sector partners and NGOs to advance sustainable forest and land‑use economies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage implementation of the programme portfolio, strategy, workplan and budget.
• Ensure programme objectives, outcomes and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Act as the lead representative in DRC and ROC, engaging with FCDO, country governments, private and public sector organisations, and NGOs.
• Oversee the regional team based in Kinshasa, coordinating multiple workstreams.
• Collaborate closely with the Team Leader, Project Director (UK) and the Regional Manager for Cameroon & Gabon.
• Provide regular reporting to the Team Leader and Project Director.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale development or environmental programmes.
• Right to work in the DRC (visa sponsorship not available).
• Full‑time availability and willingness to work onsite in Kinshasa.
• Strong ability to build partnerships with governments, donors, private sector and civil society.
