Sales & Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Specialist will drive enrollment and service agreements for United Friends' College, a leading language school in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Working on‑site in Kinshasa, you will promote language courses and translation services to individual learners and corporate clients, guiding them through the full sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
• Manage social media accounts and other digital platforms to increase brand visibility.
• Create promotional materials and support event participation.
• Identify, engage, and qualify prospective learners and corporate accounts.
• Guide prospects in course selection, answer inquiries, and close enrollment or service agreements.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide post‑sale support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve program offerings and learner experience.
• Track, analyse, and report on sales and marketing performance, adjusting strategies to meet growth targets.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales and pipeline‑management experience, preferably in education or service sectors.
• Comfort presenting training or program information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kinshasa, manage multiple priorities and collaborate with multicultural teams.
• Proficiency in at least two languages (e.g., English and French) is advantageous.
• Post‑secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
