Sales Representative – Lubumashi

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an ambitious Sales Representative to expand its presence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. You will own a portfolio of travel‑trade and corporate customers, build trusted relationships, and turn market opportunities into measurable revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue and commercial targets for assigned accounts.
• Manage existing customer relationships while proactively identifying new business opportunities.
• Build strong partnerships with travel agencies, corporate clients and other commercial partners.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer potential to prioritise revenue opportunities.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and drive opportunities from initial contact to conversion.
• Negotiate commercial agreements that balance customer needs with Etihad’s objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Etihad partners to create tailored customer solutions.
• Keep customers informed of relevant products, services and promotions.
• Record accurate activity in Etihad’s CRM system.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in sales, account management or business development.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
• Experience in airline sales is preferred, but strong B2B sales experience in travel or related sectors is acceptable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
