SBC Officer (Digital) – Temporary Appointment

About the role
UNICEF is seeking a Digital Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) Officer for a six‑month temporary appointment in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role supports the country’s Ebola Virus Disease emergency response by designing and managing digital communication strategies that promote protective behaviours and counter misinformation.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, monitor and evaluate evidence‑based digital SBC/RCCE strategies.
- Manage digital communication channels, social listening tools and community feedback mechanisms.
- Coordinate with RCCE‑AAP/SBC specialists, government counterparts, UN agencies, NGOs and implementing partners.
- Support capacity‑building activities, learning and scale‑up of digital engagement approaches.
