Senior HR Manager – DRC

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead end‑to‑end HR operations for our organization in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The successful candidate will oversee the full employee lifecycle, ensure compliance with local labor laws, and drive employee engagement across all functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, performance management, employee relations and HR administration.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and DRC labor regulations.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, grievance handling, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
• Maintain HR records, MIS reports, personnel files and statutory documentation.
• Partner with senior management on workforce planning, HR policy development and organizational development.
• Support talent retention, succession planning and employee development programs.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth HR operations across all departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with end‑to‑end HR operations.
• Preferred age range 35‑40 years and Indian expatriate background.
• Experience working in Africa is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of French or Swahili.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and adapt to international business practices.
