About the role
Vodafone is looking for a Senior Manager Sales Academy to lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of sales training across Vodacom DRC. You will shape the future sales force, ensuring teams and partners have the skills, knowledge and tools to drive commercial performance and superior customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Define and own the Sales Academy strategy, aligning it with Vodacom DRC commercial objectives and Group standards.
- Position training as a strategic lever to boost sales performance, productivity and customer experience.
- Establish governance, standards and frameworks for all sales training interventions.
- Oversee the design, delivery and optimisation of programmes covering products, sales skills, distribution best practices, tools, systems and customer service excellence.
- Ensure all sales and distribution staff and partners are trained ahead of new product launches and major updates.
- Validate training content for accuracy and compliance with Vodacom policies.
- Assess skills gaps, define training needs and track effectiveness through KPIs, reports and dashboards.
- Lead, coach and develop the Sales Academy team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Operations and Technology teams as a key business partner.
- Manage end‑to‑end Sales Academy projects, budgets and compliance with Vodacom rules and GDPR.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Psychology, HR or a related field.
- Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in sales training, sales enablement or related functions.
- Proven ability to lead large‑scale training programmes and drive measurable performance improvements.
