Senior Programme Officer (GAM) – Fixed Term

About the role

The Senior Programme Officer (GAM) supports World Vision DRC in acquiring funding and managing grants across humanitarian and development projects. Working in a fragile context, the officer will help expand the organization’s reach to over 5 million children by 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Write and submit proposals (bilateral, multilateral, corporate, and internal) in collaboration with technical and operations teams.
• Provide editing and reporting support to ensure compliance with donor expectations.
• Serve as primary contact for donors and support offices, representing World Vision in stakeholder meetings.
• Track donor funding, maintain reporting calendars, and ensure strategic allocation of resources.
• Assist finance in monitoring response funding and leveraging available resources.
• Travel frequently to project sites to support implementation and grant management.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French.
• Proven experience in grant acquisition, proposal development, and donor relationship management.
• Ability to design multi‑sector programs using cash, voucher, or in‑kind approaches.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
