Senior Recruiter (Kinshasa, DRC)

About the role

Wave is looking for a mission‑driven Senior Recruiter to lead hiring efforts in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Based in Kinshasa, you will join a globally distributed People team and help shape recruitment processes as the company expands across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle recruitment for a wide range of roles, with a focus on leadership and business‑critical positions in DRC.
• Build and execute sourcing strategies tailored to the Congolese market and contribute to regional pipelines.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring strategies and deliver high‑quality hires quickly.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and act as an ambassador of Wave’s mission and culture.
• Continuously improve recruiting processes, identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
• Use data and analytics to track pipeline health, optimize hiring funnels, and inform decision‑making.
• Maintain high‑quality data in the Greenhouse ATS for accurate reporting.
• Design inclusive hiring strategies to build diverse, high‑performing teams.
• Mentor junior recruiters and contribute to a collaborative talent function in the region.

Required profile

• Work authorization in the DRC.
• Mission‑driven mindset with a passion for building cashless financial services in Africa.
• Proven experience in full‑cycle recruitment, preferably in fast‑growing environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Greenhouse (ATS) proficiency.
