Senior Specialist Internal Audit

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Specialist Internal Audit to lead risk‑based audits across financial, operational and compliance areas. The role reports to the EHOD of Internal operationally and the FD administratively, and will work closely with business units to ensure audit requirements are understood and met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk‑based audit testing in line with the audit plan and program.
• Build strong relationships with business unit personnel to facilitate audit acceptance and cooperation.
• Identify, document and communicate audit issues and actionable recommendations.
• Produce insightful audit reports and incorporate data‑analytics techniques to enhance assurance and efficiency.
• Suggest and implement improvements for the Internal Audit Department.
• Lead audit teams when assigned, and support special projects or investigations.
• Stay current with emerging audit technologies and support quality‑control activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law or a related field.
• 3–5 years of internal or external audit experience, preferably in telecommunications.
• Excellent English communication, report writing, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical, creative and independent thinking abilities.
• Proven organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a changing environment.
• Experience working in complex multinational or multicultural settings.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Required skills

• Data‑analytics tools such as PowerBI or QlikSense.
• Microsoft Office365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Proficiency with audit software and general IT controls.
