Supply & Logistics Specialist (P-3, TA, 6 months)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Supply & Logistics Specialist (P‑3, temporary assignment) to support its emergency response in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The specialist will manage the end‑to‑end supply chain for a small country office, ensuring that essential goods and services reach vulnerable children and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, procure, contract and clear customs for supplies needed in the emergency response.
• Manage warehousing, in‑country transportation and distribution of goods.
• Monitor supplies, services and construction works to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with programme teams to design and implement supply interventions that meet programmatic needs.
• Provide technical advice to government authorities, national systems and implementing partners on supply chain management.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Relevant experience in supply chain, logistics or procurement within humanitarian or development contexts.
