Team Leader – Women's Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) Policy & Systems

About the role

Palladium is seeking a senior Team Leader to drive the Women’s Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) Dividend – Policy & Systems programme across seven African countries. Reporting to the Programme Director, you will be the central point of contact for the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and will ensure the programme delivers high‑impact technical assistance on policy, financing and institutional bottlenecks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for WISH P&S across DRC, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania and Uganda.
• Guide Country Leads in developing and executing annual demand‑driven work plans, ensuring timely, on‑budget delivery.
• Oversee programme monitoring, evaluation, learning and financial management in partnership with the Regional Finance and Operations Manager.
• Maintain robust reporting against log‑frame targets, payment KPIs and value‑for‑money commitments.
• Serve as the primary FCDO liaison for programme strategy, technical direction and day‑to‑day oversight.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading multi‑country development programmes, preferably in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
• Strong understanding of policy, financing and institutional reform in low‑ and middle‑income contexts.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, including government ministries and donor agencies.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and strategic planning skills.
