Technical Advisor – Malaria & Campaign Digitization

About the role

CHAI is seeking a highly motivated Technical Advisor to lead malaria and campaign digitization efforts in Francophone Africa, focusing on the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role combines public health expertise with strong analytical and communication skills to drive program impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic vision for leveraging analytics, surveillance, and digital tools to strengthen malaria programs.
• Provide technical support for surveillance systems, data‑driven decision making, and strategic financial planning.
• Design and execute monitoring and evaluation activities to track progress toward malaria goals.
• Coordinate with CHAI global and country teams to ensure project goals and donor commitments are met.
• Produce high‑quality technical outputs, reports, and communication materials for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Informatics or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in public health, strategy development, and project implementation.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to work independently in unstructured environments and travel domestically.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong quantitative analysis and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for diverse audiences.
