Technical Health Advisor

About the role

World Vision Democratic Republic of Congo is seeking a Technical Health Advisor to support its health programs across multiple provinces. The role focuses on improving access to quality health services for women, children and underserved populations, contributing to community resilience and sustainable development.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with national and provincial health authorities to strengthen health systems and expand community‑based service delivery.
• Support disease prevention and control initiatives, including maternal and child health and nutrition interventions.
• Assist in the design, implementation and monitoring of evidence‑based health projects aligned with World Vision’s humanitarian and development objectives.
• Facilitate partnerships with faith‑based and community organizations to enhance service reach in hard‑to‑access areas.
• Ensure compliance with national regulations and international standards in all health activities.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in public health, community health, or humanitarian health programs.
• Strong understanding of health systems strengthening, disease prevention, and maternal‑child health.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government, NGOs and local communities.
• Commitment to World Vision’s Christian values and mission to serve vulnerable children.
