Technical Project Manager – Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention

About the role

PATH is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the pilot implementation of Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention (PMC) in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role will support a GiveWell‑funded project, working closely with the Study Lead and a multidisciplinary technical team to ensure successful delivery of research and program activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage work plans and donor deliverables, tracking implementation milestones and approvals.
• Understand and apply the research methods and objectives of the GiveWell‑PMC project.
• Coordinate team meetings, set agendas, and present strategic insights on risks, challenges, and opportunities.
• Provide technical assistance to DPS/PNLP on stock management and transportation of Pyrimethamine/Sulfadoxine‑SP.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain focal points at provincial and health‑zone levels to ensure safe storage and distribution of drugs.
• Support national and provincial teams in drug supply management and timely deployment to health facilities.
• Track commodities, analyze logistics chains, and generate reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Background or strong interest in global health, preferably with experience in malaria or neglected tropical diseases.
• Highly motivated, hard‑working, and exceptionally organized.
• Proven ability to supervise technical staff such as logistic officers, M&E associates, and provincial coordinators.
• Experience working on donor‑funded projects and collaborating with government health programs.
