Technical Strategy & Business Development Advisor – Central Africa Hub

About the role

PATH is seeking a Technical Strategy and Business Development Advisor to lead strategic planning and proposal development for its Central Africa Regional Hub. Based in Kinshasa, the advisor will work closely with country teams, donors, and ministries of health to expand PATH’s impact across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy efforts, representing PATH Central Africa programs on project teams and technical meetings.
• Conduct technical due diligence of proposals, donor reports, and progress reports.
• Engage with donors, government leaders, and partners to secure buy‑in and implement regional technical strategies.
• Identify best practices, country priorities, and support scale‑up of innovative health interventions.
• Develop and execute donor and partner engagement strategies, maintaining relationships with USAID, CDC, multilateral agencies, foundations, and private sector stakeholders.

Required profile

• Public health background with extensive experience in the African health sector.
• Established networks with ministries of health, public and private donors, and international organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑year pipelines of bilateral, multilateral, foundation, and private funding opportunities.
• Strong motivation to advance PATH’s mission of health equity.
