Tools Sales Support Representative (TSSR)

About the role

Sandvik Mining and Construction DRC, a sales unit based in Lubumbashi within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, is hiring a Tools Sales Support Representative (TSSR) for its Kolwezi site. The role focuses on the sales optimisation and profitability of rock tools, and on training and coaching internal and customer personnel on rock tools.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise sales and profitability of rock tools, and train and coach internal and customer personnel on rock tools.
• Work closely with the Sales and Logistics departments to ensure effective forecasting of rock tools.
• Visit customers regularly with written reports and facilitate their selection and ordering of rock tools.
• Facilitate customer warranty claims and conduct trials and testing of new products at customers' sites.
• Develop customer relationships so customers have a positive experience and stay loyal to the Sandvik brand.
• Carry out all activities in line with company values, policies and procedures, and be open to travel as needed, in consultation with the supervisor.

Required profile

• Congolese citizen with a surface or underground mining operational background.
• Proven experience with mining drilling equipment and rock tools.
• Fluent in English and French, writing and speaking, and computer literate.
• Excellent communication, data capturing and adaptation skills.
