Virtual Assistant – Online Auction & Social Media Support

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, creative and tech‑savvy Virtual Assistant to support our online auction platform and boost our social media presence. You will act as the bridge between our physical estate operations and the digital storefront, ensuring listings are attractive and engaging.

Key responsibilities

• Manage online auction listings on CTBids, including photo editing, copywriting and quality control.
• Edit, crop and enhance item photos to professional standards.
• Write compelling titles and descriptions using AI tools such as ChatGPT and research techniques.
• Verify item details (dimensions, condition, history) for accuracy.
• Create, schedule and publish engaging content on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Run campaigns to promote upcoming auctions and highlight unique finds.
• Monitor comments and messages to maintain an active, welcoming community.

Required profile

• Tech‑savvy with comfort using AI tools, social media scheduling platforms and basic photo editing software.
• Excellent writing skills with a professional, compassionate tone.
• Strong research ability for vintage, antique or unique items.
• Meticulous attention to detail in data entry and visual presentation.
