Agent Liquidity Regional Lead

About the role

We’re looking for an Agent Liquidity Regional Lead to deputize for the Agent Liquidity Lead in the assigned region. The role holder will structure and deploy strategies across the region to deliver optimized cash‑flow solutions and anticipate liquidity demand, supporting the optimal operation of Wave’s money‑transfer product.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a skilled team to respond to Wave’s fast‑growing environment and develop a sustainable liquidity department.
• Monitor nationwide liquidity status, especially in the assigned region, and develop relationships with bank partners.
• Identify priority areas, devise innovative solutions, and coordinate implementation to achieve OKRs in agent operations.
• Supervise Premium Cash Officers and Assistants, manage recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• Detect and report wrongdoing or theft, prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, and conduct field research.

Required profile

• Previous team‑management experience, preferably in cash movements or cash‑in‑transit.
• 3+ years as a liquidity manager with a willingness to travel up to 50 % within the Democratic Republic of Congo.
• Secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or a comparable field.
• Strong analytical mindset, process documentation ability, and tenacity to drive results.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
• Experience with cash management tools.
