Assistant(e) aux opérations informatiques – SCOPE

About the role

The Assistant(e) aux opérations informatiques – SCOPE will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems supporting WFP field activities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role provides technical and operational support to field teams, guaranteeing the integrity, quality and timely availability of beneficiary data for both in‑kind and cash‑based transfers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain system uptime and troubleshoot technical issues for field operations.
• Support the deployment and daily use of SCOPE functionalities, including SCOPE In‑Kind, RTBI online authentication, Track and Trace, and deduplication tools.
• Ensure data integrity, quality and timely availability for beneficiary registers.
• Assist field teams with technical queries and provide training on SCOPE modules.
• Generate operational reports and contribute to improving accountability and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate with a degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
• Ability to work in multiple locations (e.g., Bukavu, Bunia) and adapt to challenging environments.
• Strong communication skills in French and English.
• Motivation to work in a humanitarian context and support vulnerable populations.
