Associate Manager - Marketing (Pharma)

About the role

The Associate Manager – Marketing will support the execution of Shalina’s regional marketing strategy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (East). You will work closely with sales, KOLs and cross‑functional teams to drive brand positioning, market share and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the regional marketing operational plan, brand and promotional mix to achieve performance and revenue targets.
• Identify, engage and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the region.
• Collaborate with field sales, enterprise customers and other resources to capture and analyse response to promotional activities.
• Support the design and periodic review of differential pricing strategies for all brands.
• Monitor consumer, customer and market trends, competition and business performance, providing proactive support to the sales force.
• Conduct regional training programs to deliver product and scientific knowledge to the field team.
• Collect and analyse primary and secondary sales data, producing monthly dashboard reports for stakeholders.
• Work with supply chain, manufacturing, regulatory and other functions to create synergy across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or life sciences and a Master’s degree in marketing.
• 8‑10 years of experience driving regional marketing strategy within a multi‑country, matrix‑structured pharmaceutical company.
• Self‑starter with strong motivation and ability to work independently.
• Proven experience working cross‑culturally and cross‑functionally with diverse teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical abilities.
