B2C Channel Sales Manager (DRC)

About the role

BURN is seeking a B2C Channel Sales Manager to design and execute the company’s direct‑to‑consumer sales strategy across the Democratic Republic of Congo. You will lead a large network of sales agents, ensure compliance with carbon‑project requirements, and drive revenue growth through door‑to‑door and market‑day activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the route‑to‑market strategy for the B2C channel, focusing on door‑to‑door and market‑day sales.
• Build, train, and manage a team of Territory Sales Managers, Team Leaders, and over 1,000 Direct Sales Agents.
• Coordinate with recruitment agencies to maintain agent headcount and meet sales targets.
• Ensure carbon‑project monitoring and evaluation standards are met, including proper stove distribution and data collection.
• Advise on compensation structures and incentive programs for the sales force.
• Oversee CRM usage, inventory management, and cash collection procedures.
• Define, track, and report on key performance indicators for the channel.
• Collaborate with the Carbon and Marketing teams on feasibility studies and marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• 3+ years managing direct‑sales teams of 500+ agents in the DRC, preferably in consumer durables or FMCG.
• Experience running on‑the‑ground sales and marketing events such as marketplace activations.
• 2+ years in monitoring and evaluation and 3+ years in project management.
• Strong leadership, people development, and communication skills in English and French.
