About the role
The Brand Manager – Fresh Business will own the strategy and execution for the meat category, covering both mass‑market proteins and premium cuts. Reporting to the Marketing Head, you will act as a strategic extension, driving growth, shaping consumer habits, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Key responsibilities
- Develop deep knowledge of the meat ecosystem, identifying growth opportunities across pricing tiers, formats and channels.
- Translate consumer and trade insights into actionable product, pricing and communication strategies.
- Define differentiated brand positioning for mass‑market meat and premium cuts, building a narrative around quality, freshness and reliability.
- Lead portfolio structuring, packaging innovation and product format development while ensuring supply‑chain alignment.
- Design and execute go‑to‑market plans for traditional wet markets, modern trade and emerging channels, maintaining strong in‑market visibility.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, supply‑chain, finance and other teams to align on distribution, pricing and profitability.
- Own business KPIs such as volume growth, market share, channel expansion and segment profitability, establishing tracking mechanisms and corrective actions.
Required profile
- 4‑7 years of experience in FMCG, food, meat or protein categories.
- Strong exposure to fresh food, meat, poultry or other perishable categories is highly preferred.
- Experience working in emerging markets or unorganized trade environments.
- Proven ability to develop and execute brand strategies that drive market share and profitability.
