Captain – King Air BE20 (SACAA ATPL) – Short‑Term Contract

About the role

Starlite Aviation Group is seeking an experienced King Air BE20 Captain to lead critical missions across Central Africa on a short‑term contract. You will command flights to remote airstrips, ensure safety, and support high‑stakes operations in challenging environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the BE20 on mission‑critical flights, including remote and night operations.
• Lead a multi‑crew cockpit, making real‑time decisions to ensure flight safety and mission success.
• Coordinate with ground teams and adhere to Starlite Aviation SOPs and local aviation regulations.
• Manage cargo, including dangerous goods, in compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) ATPL.
• Minimum 3,000 total aeroplane hours, including 1,000 PIC hours.
• At least 100 night PIC hours and 75 PIC instrument flight hours.
• 200 total BE20 hours with a minimum of 50 PIC hours on the type.
• 500 multicrew PIC hours.
• Valid medical certificate and Dangerous Goods endorsement.
• BE20 type rating (B190 rating preferred).
