Civil Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Rwenzori-J Sarlu is seeking a full‑time Civil Engineer to join its on‑site team in Kalubwe, DRC. You will lead the design and construction of roads, buildings and related infrastructure while ensuring compliance with safety, engineering and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design, planning and execution of road and building projects.
• Manage stormwater systems to meet regulatory and environmental requirements.
• Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors and other engineers.
• Ensure all work adheres to local safety and engineering codes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in planning and managing infrastructure projects.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and adaptability to complex project demands.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for stakeholder engagement.
