Compliance Investigation Officer

About the role

The Compliance Investigation Officer will support KCC SA’s risk management framework by conducting thorough investigations into incidents, misconduct, accidents, and policy violations. Reporting to the Superintendent – Investigations, the incumbent will ensure investigations are carried out in line with legal requirements and internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational and compliance investigations related to theft, policy breaches, and employee misconduct.
• Prepare and formalise on‑site and off‑site accident reports for company vehicles.
• Collect, secure and analyse evidence such as photographs, witness statements and documents.
• Support root‑cause analysis and contribute to preventive actions.
• Maintain audit‑ready records and ensure compliance with legal deadlines.
• Liaise with traffic police for accidents occurring outside KCC premises.
• Report accidents to insurers promptly and manage claims until settlement.
• Plan and supervise speed‑control operations and contribute to road‑safety awareness initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to gather and evaluate evidence objectively.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements governing investigations.
• Excellent written communication skills for impartial reporting.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
