Condition Monitoring Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Condition Monitoring Coordinator to lead our condition‑based maintenance programme at Kamoto Copper Company’s mining operations in Kolwezi, DR Congo. Reporting to the Condition Monitoring Superintendent, you will ensure the reliability and availability of critical production equipment through systematic monitoring and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee condition monitoring activities such as vibration, oil, infrared thermography and ultrasonic analyses.
• Interpret inspection results, identify early signs of failure and assess technical risks.
• Prioritise maintenance interventions, track corrective actions and ensure timely execution with maintenance teams.
• Monitor programme performance, maintain key indicators and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Develop and optimise condition‑based maintenance strategies, update maintenance plans in the AMT system and propose improvements.
• Provide technical expertise to maintenance, engineering and project teams to enhance equipment reliability.

Required profile

• Relevant technical background in mechanical, electrical or reliability engineering.
• Experience in condition monitoring or maintenance planning within an industrial setting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across multiple departments.
