Contracts Officer – 6‑month contract

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Contracts Officer to support the emergency Ebola response in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role is based in Kinshasa and focuses on contract management, supply‑chain service delivery, and technical advisory support for government and partners during a six‑month fixed‑term assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle for services required in the Ebola response, including sourcing, drafting, and administration.
• Coordinate supply‑chain activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services in an emergency context.
• Collaborate with programme teams and implementing partners to align contracting interventions with programmatic needs.
• Provide technical and advisory support to national authorities, government systems, and partners on procurement and contract management.
• Support the Contracts Specialist and Chief of Supply and Logistics with reporting and operational guidance.
