Country Manager

About the role

Yabx, a global FinTech venture, is seeking a Country Manager for the Democratic Republic of the Congo. You will lead the company’s operations in Kinshasa, working closely with cross‑functional teams and travelling as needed to drive growth and market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage existing loan and savings programs, ensuring performance targets are met.
• Build and maintain relationships with CXOs, marketing heads, banks and mobile‑wallet networks across the country.
• Articulate the product value proposition to clients and negotiate agreements within company policies.
• Define operating rules, process flows and performance metrics for the portfolio.
• Monitor portfolio performance, lead monthly reviews with clients and coordinate with Yabx’s technical, product and R&D teams to deliver outcomes.

Required profile

• Result‑oriented, self‑driven professional with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable engaging with senior executives and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities combined with solid business acumen.
• Proven ability to break down complex problems, evaluate business numbers and present insights to leadership.
• Bias for action with a track record of driving revenue growth and project delivery in banking or FinTech environments.
