Data Analysis, Performance Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning & Accountability Expert

About the role

The Compact Delivery and Monitoring Unit (CDMU) in Kinshasa seeks an expert to lead data analysis, performance monitoring, evaluation, learning and accountability activities supporting the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet and the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data collection tools and monitoring frameworks for energy projects.
• Analyze performance data, produce dashboards and regular reports for stakeholders.
• Conduct evaluations to assess project outcomes, learning and accountability.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams on data quality, analysis methods and results interpretation.
• Support knowledge sharing and capacity building within local partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis, monitoring and evaluation of development or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of performance monitoring, learning and accountability concepts.
• Ability to work independently in a challenging environment and deliver high‑quality outputs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
