Data & Analytics Manager – Health & Digital Systems (6‑month contract)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Data and Analytics Manager to lead the Data, Digital Health Information Systems, and Modeling pillar of the Ebola response in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role will provide technical and operational leadership to ensure reliable, real‑time data supports effective decision‑making for vulnerable children and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational leadership for data, digital health information systems, and epidemiological modeling.
• Strengthen national systems for Ebola data management, governance and integration of digital surveillance platforms.
• Guarantee data quality, strategic use and production of real‑time dashboards for decision‑makers.
• Develop and support advanced analyses and epidemiological models to inform response strategies.
• Support decision‑making at the Country Office and Ministry level through regular reports and dashboards.
• Build national capacity in data and digital health systems.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Data Science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in health data management, digital health systems or epidemiological modeling.
• Demonstrated experience working in complex humanitarian or public‑health emergencies.
