Digital Impact Officer (P-2, 6‑month temporary appointment)

About the role

The Digital Impact Officer will support UNICEF’s response to the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo by ensuring reliable ICT services in the Bunia office. The role focuses on maintaining infrastructure, providing technical assistance, and safeguarding digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Enable continuous operation of ICT infrastructure and ensure accessibility to ICT services and solutions.
• Support operational and administrative tasks that rely on digital tools.
• Assist in the delivery of programme results through effective ICT support.
• Implement cybersecurity measures and protect digital assets.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum two years of professional experience in IT management and business operations within a large international organization.
