Driver – Logistics & Transport in Lubumbashi

About the role

Sandvik Mining and Construction DRC is seeking a reliable driver to operate trucks, vans or similar vehicles for the transport of product supplies and equipment between sites, suppliers and customers in and around Lubumbashi. The role involves handling routine and complex deliveries, including night runs and hazardous material transport, while maintaining high safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate trucks, vans or similar vehicles in industrial and residential areas to pick up and deliver product supplies and equipment.
• Perform complex pickups and deliveries, including night deliveries and transportation of hazardous products.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, ensure it is fueled and ready for use.
• Load and unload goods safely following best practices and company procedures.

Required profile

• Congolese citizen with a diploma.
• Proven experience in a similar logistics role, preferably in a mining environment.
• Valid Class C driving licence.
• Good knowledge of road safety and loading‑offloading procedures.
• Fluent in English and French.
