English Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join the CALI Partner Schools program in Kinshasa. You will deliver high‑quality English instruction to students in a local school and support the development of existing English programmes using CALI’s curriculum and teaching methods.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver English lessons to students at the assigned partner school, following CALI’s curriculum and pedagogical approach.
• Train and mentor existing English teachers and school administrators on CALI’s methods and materials.
• Participate in CALI‑organized professional development sessions and continuous training.
• Utilise classroom presentation technologies to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with fellow CPS teachers to promote student success and share best practices.
• Report progress and receive guidance from CALI’s leadership and administrative staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching English to learners of various ages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, encouraging classroom presence and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Experience using classroom technology for instruction.
