English Teacher – Partner Schools

About the role

CALI is seeking enthusiastic English teachers to join its Partner Schools program in Kinshasa. You will deliver high‑quality English instruction and support existing language programs in local schools, using CALI’s curriculum and teaching methods.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English to students across maternal, primary, secondary or post‑secondary levels using CALI’s curriculum.
• Train existing English teachers and school administrators on CALI’s methods and materials.
• Participate in CALI‑provided professional development and training sessions.
• Utilise classroom presentation technologies to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with fellow CPS teachers to improve student outcomes.
• Report to CALI leadership and represent the organization in the school and community.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, encouraging classroom presence and a willingness to learn.
