Finance Operations Team Lead

About the role

The Finance Operations Team Lead will oversee consolidated financial reporting and treasury activities across field, national, and global finance functions. This senior position ensures accurate monthly and statutory reporting, robust cash management, and compliance with internal and donor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation of consolidated monthly financial reports and statutory annual financial statements.
• Manage balance‑sheet reconciliations, inter‑company transactions, and financial key scorecards.
• Set up and maintain accounting codes, system access rights, and licensing for financial systems.
• Coordinate with banks, manage bank signatories, approval authority guidelines, and liquidity targets.
• Oversee cash‑flow forecasting, treasury operations, and mobile money/beneficiary payment platforms.
• Collaborate with FP&A Lead on budgeting, cash‑flow planning, and grant‑level funding forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with WVI FFM, IFRS, and donor regulations.
• Design and implement integrated financial systems and controls, linking field, national, and global finance.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting and treasury management.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional finance teams in a complex, multi‑country environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with shared services and banking partners.
