Fixed Wing Crew Training Manager

About the role

Starlite Aviation Group is seeking an experienced Fixed Wing Crew Training Manager to lead the training programme for its fixed‑wing fleet in Kinshasa. Reporting to the Fixed‑Wing Chief Pilot, you will ensure that pilots and crew are fully qualified, competent, and compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and safeguard all training material and documentation.
• Manage the training curriculum for fixed‑wing pilots, including scheduling and delivery.
• Oversee training documentation, manuals and administrative processes.
• Appoint and supervise key training positions.
• Conduct conferences, meetings and presentations related to training.
• Develop, update and advise on company training policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fixed‑wing flight operations.
• Previous training experience within Part 135/121 or DFE environments.
• Former senior roles such as Senior Pilot, Chief Pilot or Crew Training Manager.
• Experience working with UN, EU, WFP or similar organisations.
• HEMS or comparable mission experience; military or police flight background is a plus.
• Instructor‑qualified and instructor‑rated on BE20 and/or B1900D aircraft.
