Grants & Fundraising Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Grants & Fundraising Intern to support our fundraising team. You will help increase program visibility, build relationships with donors, and ensure that grant requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare program updates, newsletters, and annual donor reports.
• Ensure grant compliance with donor policies and internal procedures.
• Maintain organized Google Drive folders for all grant documentation.
• Monitor grant spending and provide monthly spend reports to program leads.
• Assist the Executive Director and program officers in preparing grant proposals and supporting documentation.
• Identify new funding opportunities and help evaluate their suitability.
• Schedule and draft grant reports, collating input from field and management teams.
• Work with Monitoring & Evaluation staff to integrate required metrics into grant plans.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience in research, report writing, and meeting deadlines.
• Education in community development, international development, business, economics, or related fields.
• Ability to build relationships with new partners and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Google Drive (document management and sharing).
