HR Officer – Mining & Construction (Lubumbashi)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented HR Officer to support our HR operations in a fast‑paced mining environment. You will help deliver high‑quality HR services across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with DRC labour law and Sandvik standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment coordination, onboarding, contract management and off‑boarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and prepare HR documentation.
• Provide first‑line employee query support and assist with disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, absenteeism) and support HR audits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes.
• Assist with health & safety initiatives related to HR.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of end‑to‑end HR operations experience, including recruitment, payroll and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of DRC labour law and HR best practices.
• Excellent organisational skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural, high‑tempo mining setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR information systems, specifically Workday.
